TT Tire Replacement

Well, I was inspecting my tires on my 5 year old X23B and noticed some hairline cracking close to the rim. Time to replace. There are volumes of information regarding tires. I am a Discount Tire customer and am looking for any recommendations. I'm told to stay completely away from anything built in China. Recommendations please. Thanks

I’m very happy with the Goodyear Endurance that came on ours. Highly recommend.

Most of the issues with Chinese made tires were on 14"-15" tires. Specifically TowMax branded tires, though some other brands had issues. Some of us here did an unscientific survey some years back and came to the conclusion that the tires in question did not have the proper rating on them. In other words, not all Chinese tires are bad.

That said my TowMax 13" tires are the original. Due to circumstances, and the fact they are showing no cracking, I'm going to probably run them out this season and replace them next year.

Goodyear Endurance is not available in a 13". Carlisle and Maxis are said to be good and I'm pretty sure both have 13" tires available.

Goodyear Endurance, if your tire size is available.

Maxxis for the 2nd choice. I have owned both and are great tires.

Carlisles had problems a few years ago. Not sure about now.

Put Endurance in the search bar above and you will get 100 (s) of posts by people recommending them. This may also be a good time to go up one grade to get a little extra load capacity safety. ( like from C rated to D rated) If you have 13s, you might have space to upgrade to 14s to get Endurance tires.
If your rims are rusty or do not have the pressure rating to take the tires consider ordering them on rims. Saves running it in to the dealer.
