Update on LEDs

I received the LEDs that I ordered on Ebay to try in my x17z yesterday and decided on this one:

It has pretty close to the same output as the T10 bulbs and comes with 3 different adapters:

I ordered 10 more for $45.99 and free shipping! These seem like good quality so far, time will tell. MUCH cheaper than buying here in the US. They even have 3M double face tape on them for mounting inside the fixtures. I am extremely happy with them. The seller shipped them right away and it took about 3 weeks to receive them from China.

The seller doesn't have anymore right now but I'm sure they will have more in the future. Here is a link to some of their other LEDs. Just be careful and make sure you order the one with the multiple adapters. They have a bundle of ten shown but not with the T10 (wedge) adapter:

I have some of these and they work great. They are plenty bright and the warm LED light looks good to my eye. You can't go wrong for the price.

Those look identical to the ones I used. So far, so good with them....

Reading up on these, some have said there's a problem with the card overheating... I'd be curious about your experience, as I've just paid $20.00 ea for 3 of the rounded LED lights! LED is certainly the way to go...even though we only replaced 3 (on the lights we use the most) the savings on the battery was substantial! I'll slowly but surely be doing the rest of them....

So far I've noticed that the 36 led card does run a little warmer than I expected, there are a lot of leds, but not enough to warm the plastic lens like the regular bulbs do. I guess time will tell.

I was going to say the same thing Rick - they put out less heat than the original incandescents.

I've got one to test it out and see if I like the color. This week was our first outing and something didn't look right in the fixture. The LED (36) was hot enough to cause the double side tape to let go. Much hotter than I expected.
Haven't seen posts re overheating.
Anyone with details?
Outside that theyr're good.

I'm curious, why wouldn't you just replace with the proper led wedge bulb?

Not many of those LED's that are shaped kinda like a light bulb have as many LED's as these cheap panels. So for us, it's about output.
