I bought a fiber bed mattress topper for ours. It make it a good bit more comfortable. You can also get a 2 inch memory foam topper.

I have a spring mattress that was horrible. Got a 2" topper and it made a world of difference -- pretty cheap and easy upgrade that I would think would work well in a hybrid.

We bought a 2" memory foam topper as well. I loved it and thought I had found the answer to the RV queen bed riddle. But DW was allergic to it, sneezed, watery eyes, distressed breathing. She said it had to go or she was going! Of course I removed it before the next camping trip. No more allergic reactions now. Were using our Cabelas sleeping pads on it now until I again solve the RV queen bed riddle. Maybe a Hypo-allergenic topper? Sounds pricey. -Lee

Crabman you might want to try National Allergy. My allergist recommended them. I buy a lot of allergy supplies from their web site.

We went to a local foam shop and they sell foldable mattresses for rv's. It comes with a zipper fitted cover. Easily folds in the trailer and when one piece of foam wears out, it is a relatively inexpensive cost to replace the one piece of foam. So far though, we have just rotated the pieces around. We also added a foam topper.

You can get custom (truck bunk size) memory foam mattress replacements from mattressinsider.com.

They're not cheap though, $375 for both inserts. I want to do it, I'm just trying to wrap my head around the price.
