Angry Urine on hideaway couch

Does anyone know the best way to clean the couch. We had a little guest this weekend and we had him sleep on the couch since it makes into a bed. He peed during the night. We tried to clean it but I still think it smells a little like urine. I am trying to take the bolts off the couch but it isn't easy. Any suggestions as to how to make sure to get it cleaned?

We have a spot steam cleaner that I use for our cars. It's the not the one in the link but an older model. If you have access to something like this try using it with a cleaner made to clean up pet stains.

Yikes...

Is it only in the cushion, or did it go down into the structure?

If it's mostly contained in a cushion, I would dump a bunch of hydrogen peroxide into it.

Also, there are some pet cleaners that work pretty well. You could use a strong shop vac to pull all the moisture out after letting it soak a while.

Good luck. I'm lucky my dog never tried to mark inside the trailer. It is a continuing fear of mine!

We have a Rug Dr spot cleaner that does a great job on stuff like this.

If you don't have a cleaning machine available, believe it or not, regular old blue Windex works wonders on this type of stuff.

I'd suggest an enzymatic pet cleaner as well for the cushions. An enzymatic one will break down the urine and neutralize it.

If it got into the foam good luck cleaning deep enough, I would replace the foam or your going to be chasing that smell for a long time

We used Nature's Miracle to neutralize and then Resolve to get out the stain. If it is in the foam, wash the foam in your washing machine if it fits (just don't use too hot of water). Had this happen multiple times when the kids were young.
