Vitco RVQ Grill

Hello all,
I have a 2003 Jayco Kiwi 23b. We use and like the original Vitco RVQ grill. Really appreciate the small size and exterior, sidewall mount. My problem is that we are wearing the little grill out. The interior flame spreader is corroded/rusted/burnt to the point of failure.
I have read that some Jayco owners never liked the grill. My question is simple: does anyone reading this have one they would like to sell? I am interested in the total package of whole grill or the various parts of mounting frame, grate, flame spreader, or propane hose.
I am aware that there are other grills that folks use but we (expecially the wife) really like the original RVQ. We intend to keep usng the Kiwi for many, many, many years so I hope to invest in grill parts to keep our favorite grill functional. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Bert

Look in the for sale section and there were a good many of them at one time.

I took my flame diffuser to a sheet metal fabricator and had a new one made from stainless steel. Cost me $50.00. Good luck!

Scan the classified section - rv accessories for sale. There are a boatload of them.

http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f16/

Also scan the archives section. We have limited the amount of time an item can be active but you may find one there that has been moved due to length on the Classified list.

I found a local metal shop to fab a new heat deflector for me. Took him the old one and made a new one out of stainless steel for 50.00.

I have this exact grill, unused still in the box it was manufactured in. I actually found this thread because I typed in google info on this grill in order to sell. If you still need one, or if anyone reads this that does, let me know

Has anyone used the RVQ II grill? Their web page says it fits the same bracket as the original, but it looks wider in their pictures.

I use my grill regularly and it is getting a bit tired sitting around outside all the time.

I have been looking at the RVQ 2 as I have the 1 but missing the grate. Did you ever pull the trigger on getting the 2?
