What is this

What is this on the passenger side of my 2007Jayco Jay Feather? Looks like something can attach to it.

It's where a gas grill would mount, did yours come with one?

Could also be for the table if it uses a similar bracket on the wall.

I have something similar and it is for a grill which came with my RV although I have never used it (never used the sidewall bracket for the grill, I have used the grill) as I know how burgers can flare up and I wouldn't want a huge flame close to or against the sidewall of my RV. ~CA

Had one of those on a popup. It was to attach the table which had an adjustable leg. If it was for a grill it would probably have a LP quick connect close by.

Take you table by lifting it up on the outside to about 30 to 45 degrees and lift off the inside wall. Carry outside and reverse. Mine comes off so you can use it as part of the bunk the dinette converts into.

Some years ago the piece that mates to that track was available for purchase, and not expensive. We got ours from the dealer's parts department. I fastened it (screws) to a board and made a support underneath.

It’s the gas grill bracket that you need for this and if you check on eBay that would be good.

If you look under the unit where the bracket is you'll see a gas line for the grill/cook top.

too bad we're so far from each other. I have the whole shebang gathering dust in my garage...grill and bracket....for 10 years now. I prefer the Coleman three burner grill for home and road.

I dumped the cheap grill and made a table with some scrap lumber. I am sure the bracket could be purchased from ebay. I purchased the part that mounts on the trailer from ebay and used the table at home for a while. I think it is still in the garage.

I added another length of that bracket next to the original, and made a small table to have next to the stove.

We have that too. We hook our tv to it, it was made to put the bbq that came with the coach on it. We don’t use for that as I don’t want the flame that close to the coach. We make shifted a setup and it works great to put a tv on when we’re outside, then we take the tv off and put in a bag for travel.

Both of our Jaycos have had that mounting bar, and it was intended for a grill. I'd never put a grill there, especially considering it's also under the awning. Mildew stains are bad enough. I can't even imagine trying to remove greasy smoke residue from cooking. We added a length of hose to our quick connect and move the grill as far away from the camper as we can.

Consider that rail a source of ideas.

We made an aluminum bracket and shelf with a telescoping support leg to hang from that mounting rail. It's just the right size (about 1/8" x 20" x 24") to hold our camp stove and small propane bottle if we want to cook outdoors. Or just to have a nice big shelf to put stuff on.

Could be a propane hook up just under the carriage in the same area.

Can someone provide a link to where I can purchase what's in these pictures? We purchased a 2013 Greyhawk last November, and have the grill, but what's in these pictures did not come with the unit. I'd love to find a place I can buy this part. Last time I looked, you had to buy the grill to get the holder/stand part.

Thanks!
