What size sewer hose fits inside storage compartment?

Hello! We recently purchased a used 2010 19H and we were given a cheapy sewer hose from the dealer. We would like to replace that hose and was wondering if anyone knew what size sewer hose can fit inside storage compartment. Also, what type/brand hose is good? We had bought a RhinoFlex swivel sewer kit, but it does not fit into the storage area because of the fittings on it.
Thanks for any suggestions/tips!

The sewage compartment on my RV is good for no useful sewer hose I have ever come across. I use it to hold one of those coiled 50' garden hoses. As for the stinky slinky - I bought one of the Valterra hose holders and mounted it to the back wall of the RV just above the rear bumper.

My sewer hose fits in there just fine. I think it's one of the Valterra models.

I bought a 2007 165 Sport.
The hose that fit in the factory storage did not have an end on it.
Must have been before CG's required the locking fitting.
Looks like mine will only fit a 3" hose with a fitting on one end that sits in the box at the entrance to the storage compartment.
I did the vinyl fence post 5" mod on the front A-frame.

I could not find any that fit in my '06 compartment and just looked for a good hose. I too bought a rhinoflex mainly because it came with caps on either end to seal it. Have been happy with it, but am still trying to come up with a place to store it--I like dougtoms01 idea with a vinyl fence post.

There are several executions of storage modifications in this thread.
Cost is about $35 total and maybe 1 hour labor.

Be sure to buy the 5" fence post, $24 at Home Depot

Best regards,
Doug

My Rhino sewer hose fits in my 2013 Bumper just fine. It is snug, but it slides in and out with no issues. Maybe old bumpers are slightly smaller?

Some units have a flat bumper, not square tube.
In my case, they have a storage compartment accessed from the rear and a 3" PVC tube that locates inside under the bed.

FYI,
Doug

Yes, mine has a flat bumper, so I have a sewer hose storage compartment on side of camper as you mentioned. That's why I can't figure which hoses fit inside.

Just bought the 5" post at HD along with 2 caps and 2 drawer buttons. Will work perfect for my rhinoflex and fits perfect on my platform.
I have a built in sewer hose compartment that didn't hold any current hose.
Thanks dougtom01 for idea.
