Whats a decent fan that i can add to my bathroom roof vent?

the light is right next to the vent so i figured i can get 12v from that. not looking to spend alot, just something that will help pull some air out.

IMO the only decent one is a Fan-Tastic Create-A-Breeze.

Spending a lot is a relative term but here is a link:

Check Heng's Vortex II Multi Speed fan. Is a low cost unit, ~$73.00 on ebay. It is reversable and multi speed. There is also a similar, a lower cost unit that is single speed and non-reversable.

If you check these out you'll find that they are a simple replacement for the standard fan, all done on the inside, and NO unsealing/resealing on the roof.

We are currently awaiting delivery of a "Vortex" fan. For what I needed I thought it was reasonably priced . I did not want to try to scrape the caulk on our trailer because of the age.

I did not want to try to scrape the caulk on my trailer because of the warranty.

When you install it, please let us know how it goes with the installation.

We replaced the factory bathroom fan with the Fantastic Fan plus the matching cover. We are very happy with the mod.

So, after waiting 17 days, our "Hengs Vortex Replacement Fan" arrived. More on deliverly later. The install could not have been easier. The instruction sheet was not the best copy ever but, I had watched videos on U Tube so it went quickly. I will pass on a hint that no one may have mentioned. It is difficult to hold the new fan in place while completing wiring. What I did was use 2 fairly long plastic wire ties joined together. I put the wire ties over the brace that remains after you remove the old fan and motor, then put the wire tie thru the brace in the new fan and gently tighten until one side of the fan is supported. You can now easily complete the wiring. When finished wiring, simply cclip the wire tie and complet the install.
Now for the delivery. The company I ordered from offered choices as to which type of delivery slowest being cheapest and this was what chose. Accordinmg to the seller it should have been delivered in 7-11 days. As I statede it took SEVENTEEN days from order to delivery !!! Pony express would have been faster.
Now for the real kicker. I got a very good price on this fan. It was advertised as "NEW" When I opened the outer box the actual manufactures box was in BAD condition. I could see it had been opened, label cut from front, and resealed with packing tape. Upon opening, the fan and contents were fine, all there but, also was a return label from an ebay buyer stating the item"did not fit". Sorry for such a long post and the fan works great but, I just think a little more honesty on the sellers part would have been a better way to do business. This was not an individual but what I consider a large company.

If you bought it off e-Bay, it probably was shipped from China. I've had stuff take longer than that to get to me from China. I guarantee pony express would not have been faster if the poor pony had to swim the Pacific Ocean.
