we used a 6" fence post and put a piece of plastic guttering inside to make a tray to slide in and out.

How about a couple large hose clamps?

we used some Giant Zip ties, look at the load weight rating on the ties and get the ones with the largest load rating those are usually most durable. we also painted our post and cap black to match the trailer tong.

That would work but some of those deteriorate in the sun over time. Stainless clamps should last longer.

I got a masserator with my new coach. No more bulky sewer hoses. Something to look into.

saw a guy with one of those fancy $200k rigs newmar and he had a masserator and the hose sprang a leak and no dealer anywhere around him sold a replacement hose it looked like a pool filter hose. at least you can get a regular hose at walmart.

Here is a link to 12" ones but they do make them much larger. More than 1 clamp can be combined to make one larger one.

Here's a place that sells kits to make them any size you need.

When I had no storage for my last trailer I took four inch pvc pipes and flanges on the end and put my hose there and strapped to my tongue or hauled in my truck. The best part of it was when dumping I cut two more pvc pipes (one sixteen inches and one six inches) cut grooves in them for support so I didn't ever have to take the drainage hose out of the pvc pipe and I could use the shorter ones to lay on and I had a sloped drainage system. My new trailer has the bumper but I'm thinking I will go back the pvc pipes. It's cleaner and easier.

I was going to say fence post. I think that is a better choice than the round pvc only because it mimics most bumpers on back of trailers. My hose fits these with 90° elbows on both ends. Pretty easy to attach to the under belly

The Macerator hose is a really durable piece of material. If someone got a hole in theirs they must have dragged it through trail of glass.

Good idea. What do you do to them to prevent rust. Are they more expensive than pvc? The four-inch pvc is big enough to insert the elbows too. The advantage of the pvc is you can cap them at both ends, or you can leave them open for a while to draining and dry out. I recommended the tongue because it fits behind the battery. I mounted mine under the belly of the trailer close the the black/gray water outlet for convenience.

Me2, flush it good, throw in the bed of truck, it 'blow drys' on the ride home, then, couple ends together and put in storage compartment

I was thinking this would work, not sure if any one else has tried securing the fence post with hose clamps but I may try this. Thanks!

This may seem strange, but we use a clear zippered bag that our bed's comforter came in. The hose and all of the attachments easily fit in it. Because it's zippered everything is contained. Living in Arizona, because of the low humidity, everything dries very quickly.

Large self taping bolts/screws and the old galvanized plumbers tape would do it. You would still be making holes in the camp trailer bumper/frame. If you are worried about a trade in value just leave the fence post cover on the bumper. The next owner will have the same trouble you are having.

The top 6" pipe holds the carpet and macerator pump cord. The bottom holds the macerator pump, 1" pump hose, sewer hose, clear elbow, and clear plastic 5" viewing sewer drain extension. The caps are held on with bungee cords.

I do like the square fence post idea over the round.
