Hey the guy who has his X17Z on Craig's List posted the sticker and it says it weighs 3095 with a full propane tank.

I guess I feel like I should get on this deal because it would work, and then either I'll sell the trailer or sell the Pathfinder after a year if it doesn't work.

Its a 3500 pound trailer right?

So 3100 w/ the propane tank leaves you 400. Now fill the hot water heater up, and that's right around the 350 I was mentioning earlier.

If you can deal w/ that and not go over that's great. Just go in eyes wide open. You won't be able to fill all those cabinets inside ....

You should also find the " frontal area chart" for your truck and see how it applies to your tt / tv . Wind resistance can be the real killer of a truck especially the V6'S although all engines are effected and life is shortened. Larry

Yes, I got the 2017 which is lighter weight. It was not a fun drive home through construction in the rain but I’ll get a better TV if I keep the TT long term. Just sticking my toe in..,

X2. Our V6 Ford Escape says in the owners manual to not exceed 30sq ft of frontal area. That's pretty much a pop-up trailer max.

I purchased a X23b this year, and have towed it around Ohio including the southern part of the state which has some fairly decent hills to climb on the interstates. My tow vehicle is a 2008 Chevy trailblazer. It's a 6 cylinder which is rated to tow 5300 lbs. A V8 would be a better option, but I plan on tackling the hills of PA this coming year with great confidence in my tow vehicle. Hope this helps.

Just be cautious on your payload of your TV. It’s rated at 1240 pounds. That is luggage, coolers , occupants and tongue weight of TT. I just traded out of an Envoy after upgrading to a X23B. Had no problem with local camping, but wanted something more substantial when traveling further especially in the summer. Nice Trailer enjoy!!! We love ours.
