Which Key for Hybrid Bunk Latch

Hey Jayco Fans,

I recently purchased a 2013 Jayco Jay Feather Ultra Lite 20E from a dealership and ended up not getting keys to lock the front door or the bunk end latches. I was able to track down the right key type for the front door by removing the panel and finding the 300 series sticker, however, I haven't had any luck figuring out the keys needed for the bunk latches. The dealership's service dept has been trying for the last week and a half and had no luck as of yet. Hoping someone on this forum can help save the day.

My HTT is is in storage, so I cannot go out and look at it. By chance is there a small number written on the key cover opening?

May need to remove a latch and see if there is a number on the back side.

The latch assemblies are not to terribly expensive. I have thought about buy new locks for all they way around the TT, so I have one key for everything.

My 2018 16XRB uses the same key for door, bunks, & storage compartment. Only the outside shower compartment is a different key. There should be a number on the key. Mine is #718. I ordered spare keys from Bauer. They make the keys. Just go onto the Bauer website and order. If you have the #

Unfortunately they did not start using single key design until a few years ago. HTT's from that era have three keys.

After contacting Jayco and being directed to Bauer, I ordered some #360 keys for the front door and a key they recommended (357) for the bunk latches. I've tried the CH751 and it only works on the storage compartment unfortunately. I'm hoping the 360 or 357 works on the latches. Fingers crossed. If not, I'll have to remove one of the latches and hopefully the key # is listed on it. Thanks for all the info so far everyone.

For our 2011 the key is a square black plastic headed FIC key bearing code HF 301. I was under the impression that not all cargo doors had the same lock code though (unlike the 751 for everything everywhere idea).

ETA: Mine is in storage too, but here is a picture of the latch type I have. Zooming in, I can't make out any code on the lock cylinder itself. Ignore the circle, that is from the original post this was for.

Got the 360 Bauer key for my front door as well as the 357 key they recommended and unfortunately, neither one worked on the bunk latches. Didn't mention this before, but the dealership I purchased the trailer from included a set of keys that says Global Link (manufacturer of the latches apparently) and the keys have the code G361. Found the exact same latches on the eTrailer.com website (link included below). These unfortunately don't work on the bunk latches. I reached out to eTrailer via email to see if there's a way to determine which key it takes. The search for the right keys continues.

I have a 2014 X19H. It uses three keys for door, cargo and bunks. My key for the bunks is a Global Link G330 and my locks look like yours.

Pics are the best I can do at moment as trailer is at dealers but these pics are of my trailer just not close ups. Can do closer later this week when I get I back.

Howdy Camper!
We were in the same predicament with our 2012 19H bunks we couldn't lock due to those keys not being passed along. They looked like the ones posted. Somehow, after weeks of scouring the net at night; I somehow stumbled across thembeing built built by Fastec Industrial and was able to order several using only the number on the latch cylinder. Thee lady was a great help over the phone, and the prices were reasonable too. I think they were Bauer keys, and remember them having an offset head. We ordered several spares, and made sure they were passed to the next owner, along with the story.

Happy Trails and Good Luck!

After getting a call from Global Link, the rep I spoke to confirmed that the Global Link G330 key is more than likely the one I need. I ordered one from eTrailer, got it yesterday and I'm happy to say it worked! Very happy to be able to lock up my trailer. Thanks to everyone for all the photos and input.
