Why Jayco?

So, I have and really like my Jayco X17Z.......as I'm looking to upgrade to something with more fold out beds (3) .... I'm wondering why should I go Jayco again.
I am new to all this and ALL the different makes and models....

Why do/did you all choose JAYCO

Thanks

I've owned 3 Jayco trailers that we bought new. A '93 pop-up that we had for 10 years. A '03 Kiwi 17a hybrid that we had for 10 years. And our current X20E now approaching the end of it's 3rd season.

Small issues with fit/finish type things when new, otherwise very solid trailers. No matter what brand you buy you have to keep up with maintenance if you want it to last.

Only once did I make a buying decision on brand loyalty and it came back to bite me.

Now, I find the [item] that I feel fits my needs best. Shop dealers by price/support.

Hold my nose, close my eyes and jump into the purchase!

Put up with the minor flaws. Get the big ones fixed under warrantee.

So far under that philosophy: several cars, 2 welders, a house and 2 trailers. No Regrets.

I wound up with a Jayco because it was equipped the way I wanted and the floor plan was quite livable.

I didn't have a clue over which brand's reputation was better. Still don't. RV's are built as inexpensively as possible to be light in weight, not durable. So I went with one that 'Felt Right'. SWMBO agreed.

I bought one so I could get on here and say I bought one!

Kidding aside...build quality and reputation. As well as recommendations from friends.

A lot of pre order research led me to buy a Jayco.

Despite being previous Jayco owners of a 2009 26BH, we had our heart set on a Keystone Cougar this time around. We had already wrongly discounted the Jayco through our own preconceived notions of Jayco being an "entry-level" offering and didn't even look at them at first. Only when we were unable to make the deal on the Cougar did we give the Jayco a look. We wound up with a 2016 WhiteHawk 27DSRL and couldn't be happier. Our friends and camping partners wound up buying the Cougar we originally wanted and now admit that our Jayco is a better unit in terms of value and features.

Very similar reasons as others: 2 year warranty; tons of research and lots of hands on inspection of dozens of makes and models and Jayco came out on top for "bang for the buck" as far as quality, fit and finish; the 377RLBH was the layout that finally fit almost exactly what we wanted to a T; toured the company and I believe they have a solid operation, family owned, and they care about the quality of their coaches and reputation in the industry; talked to a couple Jayco techs and they all have great things to say on both the quality as well as warranty - Jayco stands behind their products where many other manufacturers fight paying out for warranty work; and mostly - hearing consistently good experiences from Jayco owners in person and online vs lots of nightmare stories from "other" manufacturers.

We bought ours at an RV Show and there were many brands there to choose from! Jayco had, by far, the best floor plans and also the best prices! We have friends who own a campground and they have seen many different brands come and go and they affirmed our choice. I also agree with what others said about finishes and quality. And the two year warranty doesn't hurt either!

Bought a "used" 2012 tt in mid 2013. This summer, the front elect stabilizer pulled free, dropped down, and bent. Factory had installed it with two self tappin screws each side, instead of four 8x 11/2 bolts each side, as per mfg method . Took a couple of phone calls, and a letter to jayco president, but they agreed it was their fault, and sent me a new stabilizer. Took me about 1/2 hour to install, for all the holes lined up perfect. Not sure why their worker chose to use the screws! Doubt if most other mfgs would do that. Tks jayco!

I saw several. Knew several satisfied customers. Found a local dealer that had what I wanted and bought it. The only other local dealer was CW...Nuff said!

If you scout around, at least then, a poor quality unit or poorly designed floor plan was somewhat obvious. I knew many who had a variety of brands and Jayco stood out.

The 2 year warranty was also a factor.

We usually attend the spring RV shows, and check out new floor plans, and the Jayco was the best for storage and livability, warranty, and construction. There's also a dealer close by, and we got a great deal. That made it warm and fuzzy for us.

We started with a brand new eagle 12 popup in 1996 and kept it for 19 years with no problems, but I enjoy doing routine maintenance and upkeep. It survived 3 kids, 2 dogs and a ton of memories. So this last spring we sold it to another young couple and bought an x17z ourselves for just the wife and I. We also checked out a lot of other brands and models and kept coming back to the Jayco. So we drove from Chicago to eastern Michigan to get a great deal and have used it 6 times already this year and can't wait for next year to come around.

We have found that our Jayco has ample amounts of storage. We have friends that we camp with that have other brands and they are jealous of the storage space that we have. We bout used, so the warranty wasn't a factor. BUT, when we begin looking for a new unit, we will start at Jayco because of how good this unit has been to us.

Similar rationale to what others have mentioned - warranty, reputation, etc. We were very happy with our White Hawk, and based on that knew we wanted to stay with Jayco when we decided to go a little bigger.

Bought a brand new Jayco Qwest 10v pop up from a local dealer in 2002 and it was the best purchase I have ever made. Easy to use and tow and very well designed and made. I also liked the family owned aspect of the company (Too bad they sold out).

Had been shopping around for a small hybrid, found a very mint 2013 x17z and was very impressed with the features, weight and ease of use. Understand the CCC issue but there is only two of us and 450 pounds of cargo is plenty. Very impressed with how my Jeep Grand Cherokee handled it. Cant wait for spring!

Bought our first Jayco based on floorplan after borrowing a friend's pup a few times and learning what we didn't like about his. Didn't know a lot about Jayco then, but got lots of compliments for choosing Jayco. Oooh, a Jayco!

Bought our second Jayco because it was by far the best condition used unit we had seen privately or on a dealer lot. Some of that may have been the former owner, but some of it should also be attributed to the quality of the build. We saw other used units of the same vintage from other mfg's that were literally falling to pieces. And we also liked the floor plan a lot.

Semi local dealer that would take our 1 year old Forest River hybrid as a trade and the 33 RLDS had a floor plan we liked better than anything else we seen regardless of brand.
