Window caulk

What type of caulk would be good to seal around the outside window frame? I have a leak coming from the old caulk from Jayco. Also, would remove old or caulk over the old? Thank you!

Remove the window and use
#1) 6 mm Butyl Tape (Automotive Industry) or
#2 use the gray building putty they used to use this on windows in the RV industry.
Nowadays it is a rubber seal or foam seal, lot of time installed poorly

I have done one window with butyl tape and going to do them all coming spring.

What Aljo said. If a conventional (not frameless) window, and you want to top / side seal after it's reset, geocel proflex.
