Exactly our thoughts - and we ended up buying a X17Z. Only had it out for one trip this year but love it!

Thursday we pick-up our 2010 EXP21M and tow it with our Mule, a new Touareg TDI. Now I can just look at the ground and not kiss it anymore!

Woot! another TDI puller.
Congrats on the upgrade. Bathroom, sink/kitchen, and the ability to change clothes standing up are big reasons I don't really miss the tent time. Save that for the backbacking trip.

We did the same thing...went from a pop-up to a hybrid and after 5 years, it too was too much work. Problem with the hybrids is you still need to set them up at home if put away wet. The nice thing is having a bathroom and access to the fridge and cabinets for stocking before a trip. We have since gone to a Jay Flight as the ultralight 232 EXP we had still needed a truck to tow it.
