has anyone used a ADCO Travel Trailer Designer Tyvek RV Cover - 15'1" - 18' for the X17Z. Did it fit and or wear well?

I have this exact cover for my 17z and it fits fairly well.
Sorry for the poor picture but it's raining like crazy at my house right now.

Is that cover rated for climates with snow? If so, I'll be purchasing one of them soon. Who has the best prices for covers?

I use the Adco Designer - camping world online will match anyone and ships free. I live in a snowy climate, does well. Pad the corners, old pool noodles split work well. Don't forget to adjust after wind storms.

Thank you for the picture. it fits like it was made for it! or at least much better than the one I have. How does it fit at the door? can you enter it with the cover on?
Thanks

The question of covering or not seems to come up periodically. This morning I was researching who I bought my awning covers from (couldn't remember) because my neighbor was asking (also at TT guy). So, I bought the awning protectors from these guys http://awningpro-tech.com/qa/ and noticed a comment about covers in their QnA section. Don't know if their claims are true but it's kinda scary to think about. I don't cover BTW.

The cover is zippered in three different sections along the door side which allows easy access to the trailer even while covered. I did steal someone else's idea of tennis balls over the gutters to prevent ripping the cover and it works really well.

We use this brand cover for our 308 RETS. Here in PA we do get some snow, especially northern part of PA where we keep our camper year round on it's seasonal site. He performed very well. Took the cover off in the spring and our TT look as good as it did when we covered her up in the fall. Very happy with our purchase..

I'm surprised that this Adco cover fits the 17Z so well. The Z has a length of 18'6" and the cover says it goes up to 18'. Am I missing something? Also, what do you do about the antenna on the roof?

X17Z cover
The cover I have in the photo that I posted in this thread is the ADCO Travel Trailer Designer Tyvek RV Cover - 15'1" - 18' that I purchased from CW. Item #69970. It fits great! The antenna has a screw at the base. The antenna will drop down when you loosen the screw.

Thought I would give a product update on my adco cover after approximately 8 months of use. Came home from work the other day and found this waiting for me. The cover is completely falling apart on the side that gets direct sunlight during part of the day. The material is actually flaking apart, I got it all over me when removing the cover the next day before our first trip of the season. The cover is warranted for two years so I gave adco a call. I had to email them some pictures and my purchase reciept, now I'm just waiting to hear back. I am rather dissapointed that I opted for the more expensive cover to have it fall apart in such a short period of time. I'll report back when I find out if adco will warrant their product.

After sending Adco the required info they asked for they said they would give me a one time replacement on my cover. I was given the option to upgrade to a custom fit full Tyvek cover at a discount but how much of a discount I was actually getting I wasn't sure. I did have to pay the shipping fee of $35, not a big deal considering I am getting a brand new cover. I'm hoping my new cover doesn't fail like the first. I know people that have the same cover that got well over 2 years out of it. I did feel Adco's customer service was excellent and very prompt in replying to my e-mails.

Thanks for answering the question I had. I bought one of those covers (69970) a month ago and as yet haven't removed it from the box for fear that I might not have the right size.
Your post affirms that I do!

We have the same cover and the pads they send for the gutters were a @#$%& pain to try to use! Love the tennis ball idea, will definitely be using next time. Of course there will probably be some discussion with the dog about whether that's appropriate!
