We used our Barker power jack for the first time on our first camping trip of the year!
The DW said it's probably one of the best add-on we've done to the trailer!
So it has the DW seal of approval!!

For my X23B, I need the 2 1/4" post. Because you have asmaller trailer, I'm assuming you need the 2" post.

GL, what model of jack did you buy? I am thinking of one for our 23B also. I want to be sure I get one that doesn't interfere with the drop down beds. Thanks

I went with the Barker VIP 3500. It did a great job for my X23B and I had it installed in less than 45 minutes. No problems with clearance from the beds either.

I'm sorry I didn't ask this in the previous post, but may I ask what stroke jack you bought, 18 inch or 24 inch? Thank you.

I know this is an old thread but I am currently having trouble getting my new barker jack to work. The light works but not the jack. Tried and tried to get down to metal on trailer for the ground. I'm at a loss now. Help.

I believe I would have soldered the connectors on. Even in the battery box I would not trust them not to corrode.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm looking at upgrading our manual jack on our 23B to an electric.
From reading here, seems like you can't go wrong with a Barker VIP 3500.
I was looking at their offering on amazon but doesn't show a work light, but checking the Barker website, all of theirs has a work light.
Nonetheless, I called Barker directly, and she'll sell me the VIP 3500 with weather cover, shipped for $240.
Amazon wants #226 and no cover, and I'm unsure why their photo doesn't show a work light.
I just need to confirm if I should get the 2.25" post 3500, or if for some reason this model camper needs the 2" 3000 version.

As long as it fits your tongue mounting site ok, I'd get the larger diameter post and the higher lift force rating. Less chance of accidently bending the post, and of not having quite enough power to lift your tow vehicle rear end while setting your weight distribution bars on your hitch.

That makes sense to me. The lady at Barker tried to say there was a sleeve on the trailer that the post had to fit down inside of. I was not aware of such.

On my SLX 267 BHSW, all there is is a much larger than necessary hole through the top of the trailer tongue's jack mount location so it would fit pretty much accommodate any size tube you could get on an electric jack, i.e., no "sleeve" to worry about. CW dealer accidently bent the tube on my first electric jack by not having the wheels blocked when they set the tongue down after moving the trailer to a spot on a slight slope, and they replaced the jack, but it showed how that could happen and a larger tube would at least give a little more protection from that.
