X19 Bed

I bought a new 11 X19. I was getting it ready to go in a couple week and I noticed something odd. The mattress on the tongue side is a little too long. I have it pushed out to the end, but it still sticks out over the edge enough that it pushes the table back cushion forward about two and a half inches. If you are sitting at the table, you need to raise the mattress up or you will be leaning forward. If I push the mattress back farther, it will pushing on the canvas.

My old one was not like this. Do you think I should call Jayco and ask about it?

Do you have two bunks? Is it possible the mattresses got switched. Sometimes one bed is a queen and one a double. Just something to check.

You could try swapping the front and back mattresses to see if that makes any difference.

The mattresses on my 17Z are two different sizes. The front is a true queen and the back is 2 inches narrower. I would measure the mattresses and see if they are the same size. Good luck.

You know, I have the same trailer and now that I think about it mine is the same. Guess we never worried about it before.

I'll check it out when I have the ends down again. The back mattress fits perfectly, so I doubt that it would change much, but I will see. Its been raining so much, I hate to put the ends out here at the house. I hope we some some nice weather this week, and I can get it done.
