X19h new owner

Hi all,
I signed the papers for a 2021 X19h. Will take delivery next month sometime. This is our first foray into trailering life. Will be towing it with a VW atlas with factory towing package.
I ordered the solar panel and upgraded to dual batteries.
I plan on having a generator when no shore power available, but I also understand restrictions on when I can run it.
So many questions!
First, does this unit come with an inverter? If so, where can I find a schematic that tells me what outlets are powered by it?
If not, should I ask the dealer to install an inverter? And then same questions about what outlets...
Ideally I want to be able to watch tv, and have a few small devices charging... And maybe a portable ice maker.

Advice/ideas would be gratefully accepted!

Welcome! We just moved into our 19H recently and are still asking similar questions.

We have been mostly plugged in since owning the unit. Our unit has one solar panel and a single standard car battery. I have yet to test what actually powers on without a wired power connection, but I can tell you that if anything it is likely only the plug by the television (unconfirmed at this time).

On a similar topic, one of the mods we've made to our unit is to replace the standard outlet by the front bunk/dinette with one containing two USB chargers built in. While there are USB sockets on the ceiling of that bunk, having hanging cords got in the way while trying to charge phones over night.

Thanks...
Thought this board was dead, lol.
As a point of interest I have read in multiple forums and reviews that we need deep discharge marine batteries. I am going to have dual batteries.
Also a westinghouse igen 4000 dual fuel generator...

We ended up with a Champion 3400 dual fuel, strapped onto the trailer tongue via a Stromberg Carlson CC-255. I cut three inches off the bottom of the arms in order to ensure that one the generator is removed, the front bunk tent still folds down over the tray. I'll get mod pictures up soonish.

Storage room is not awesome in these once you get it loaded up for sure. I've seen threads where others end up bringing the deep charge batteries inside near the electrical panel/bench seat after cleaning up wiring, tubing, and wasted space under the main cabinet area.

You would not want to do this with standard lead acid batteries. AGMs can be kept inside, although they still need a very small vent tube routed to outside air. Lithium batteries are generally safer for indoor storage and operation.

The other advantage of Lithium batteries is that you can discharge them more fully than lead acid, and they have a sharper drop off; delivering more consistent power. It sounds like you want to run a LOT of stuff off of battery and inverter, so you should probably be looking a pretty high capacity system.

Lots of information here on batteries and solar setup, including how to calculate your expected load and required capacity to meet that. Do a quick search on Solar and you will find a wealth of information.

The X19H has enough room on the tongue for two batteries side by side. You would need a wider battery box.

Happy camping.

Gonna be fun!!!

Looking at one for towing my 195RB

When all was said and done, the atlas could not handle the weight of the x19h.
We upgraded to an f-150 and moved up to the 23h.
Based on the numbers, we would have been right on the edge of max with the atlas and it would not have been a pleasurable towing experience.
Moving to the truck made the most sense and it tows the 23 very well
