X23 B leaks when traveling

My new to me 2008 23 B front and back bunks both leak when traveling. This is our first HTT and we are new to the site. I believe water is coming in around the hinges on the pop out beds but am unsure. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Where is the water on the inside? see if you can trace where it's coming from on the inside. Our old '03 Kiwi had a leak like this and it was coming from a seam with dried out caulking on a joint in the front just under the bed door.

Make sure that all of your canvas is tucked in and not interfering with the seal.

Another possibility is that the bed seals are failing and need to be replaced. If they weren't cared for properly they could be dried out. I treat mine twice a year with a protectant that keeps the rubber soft and flexable. Never had a single issue in 10 years of owning our previous hybrid.

I would suggest checking to see if your rubber gaskets are still good shape and make sure ends are closed tight also making sure everything got closed up properly just my two

Docbrown, what type of protestant are you using on your seals?

I have a bottle of some Turtle Wax product, I can't recall the exact name. But they replaced it with something else. Pretty much any protectant that blocks UV and treats the rubber will work. But if the seals are already drying out, then the protectant can't do much to help.

Can the seals be purchased at an RV store or do they have to be purchased directly from Jayco? Thank you for your help!

Good question. I think you'd have to make some calls to find out your options. I've read of people using bulk car door seals as a replacement.
