X23B cable connection

Can anyone tell me what this cable connection is for? What is the large hole for, and why is there an on\ off switch?

The cable connection is what it says. There is a connector on the outside of the camper so if you set up at a site that provides cable TV, you can hook up to it.
The large hole is a 12vdc outlet that will accept an auto type plug. Something that runs on 12vdc.
The on/off switch is for the antenna booster that is built into the antenna. I'm not sure if it also controls the 12 outlet. I just leave it on.

A bit of info. I have taken my TV outside at times and back fed the signal from the antenna through the cable wiring to watch it outside. All that has to be done is to jumper the antenna to the cable connection in the camper and then run the cable from the cable connection outside to the TV. Great during hockey or football season.
