X23b door lock.

I went out to storage the other day and someone had jimmied the lock. So of course I couldn't get in. Will I be able to drill the lock out & unlock it? It's the lock on the handle, not the dead bolt. Makes me pretty mad, the unit is only 2 yrs old.

Not sure about your setup but I'd call a locksmith. I did lock my key in it once. My neighbor's kid is 10 and very small. We (neighbor and me)sent her in through the cargo hatch (it was unlocked) So she could just stand up in the couch and unlock my door. Gave her10 bucks and some candy. She thought she was playing a game and won. Nothing like teaching kids a little B&E. Could you do something similar??

I'll have to see if the plywood is screwed down under the seat cushion. Good thought! Thanks!

What I would do is bring a kid with you. One the front hatch and push up the seat, and have them crawl in and unlock it from inside.

Get replacement locks from Global Link. I priced it out this winter, and to replace every lock on the htt from them all keyed the same was about $110, including the cargo holds.

Drill it out. It's a $30 part.

You can also get in through the bunk tents - handy if you are short of young-uns.
I had to replace the latch on our 23B. The Bride used the wrong key and got the lock to turn a bit before it jammed. It was an easy removal and install. I tinkered with the old lock and could never get it free to I wound up tossing it in the garbage.
