X23B mattress

I know there have been lots of posts about the beds on the hybrids and folks using mattress toppers on top of their mattress. But has anyone simply replaced their factory mattress with a memory foam, or similar, mattress topper? I have to think that a 3” or 4” memory foam topper is way better than the factory mattresses. Not sure how well they would fold but maybe? Maybe two twin toppers with a custom made cover that links them together. Anyone else done this?
Thanks!

Matress

Hello, we purchased a memory form matress and just trimmed it to fit with a electric carving knife, it is a 8 inch matress and very comfy

We purchased 2 of these on Amazon. Placed them on top of the stock bedding and slept very well!

To keep the bulk down I ordered 2 of these. It prevents the condensation and really helps comfort...although a mattress topper would still help I'm not sure the best way to store it so I can use the trailer when closed. Mine is X17Z.

We replaced our factory mattress ( I think is was stuffed with old newspaper) with a Zinus 10 inch memory foam in short queen for a perfect fit and a great sleep. Liked it so much we replaced our queen at home with a 12 inch full queen Zinus. The 12 would have been a little to high for our bed on the 195RB but the 10 inch is great. We tried a topper but it was a band aid and not a cure for a lousy mattress.

Also, I watched a you-tube or two and cut my mattresses up for easy disposal. Garbage and recycling people will not take mattresses here.
