X23b owners...bumper hitch?

I just picked up my new X23B! (2014).....I am wondering about what you all do/feel comfortable with on your hitches. I hear lots of yays and nays about bike racks and I feel a little "iffy" about them myself.
What about "Hitch Hauls" though?
I am thinking of adding a bracket/Hitch to use a Hitch Haul for carrying Firewood or whatever....

Or is the bumper just not sufficient?
