The walls get wet, and we wipe them down with the towel when we get out of the shower. We never had an issue. The water just runs down the walls into the tub.

We have the new 23B as well and installed tub guards like these http://www.amazon.com/Tender-Splash-...rds=tub+guards with silicone caulk. Now the water stays in the tub during the shower. We also just wipe down the walls after the showers and it's worked fine so far. I do wish the faucet were higher, as I find myself turning the water on & off frequently to conserve since we rarely camp with a water hookup.

Maybe I am over-engineering the solution..... Did you have to notch it out so that it fits flush against the wall?

Also you can adjust the flow down to a trickle with this shower head without having to turn off at the faucet.

I would not be a fan of having wall board act as the shower surround. I have to wonder why Jayco went in this direction.

X23B shower

When we ordered ours from the factory we ordered it with a tub surround, cost us $250 for the option.

When we took delivery of our 2015 x23B in May 2014, the shower did not include a plastic surround just the wall board. I noticed that later production runs of the 2015 x23B now have the plastic surround with the shower faucet control on the back wall. I called Jayco customer service to inquire about purchasing the surround used in the later 2015 x23B's and was told that any modification to the current shower would void our warranty and that I should contact my Jayco dealer about this.

Does anyone have a later 2015 with this surround and who might manufacture this for Jayco? I am quite mechanically inclined and do not see how modifying the shower to prevent future water damage would harm anything.

Thanks for reading
