X23B tongue jack question

I am going to buy my Christmas present soon, which will be a power tongue jack....
Does anyone off hand know the outer tube dimension for the X23B? the choices are 2" or 2-1/4"

Thanks

My original hand-crank tongue jack has a 2" tube (it's a B.A.L.) but keep in mind that I have a 2012 X23B so no guarantees that yours is the same size. I replaced it with an Atwood 2500# electric and it's been great. I went a little over kill on the jack because I planned to use it to raise the TV when setting the hitch spring bars and wanted to make sure it would have the "umph".
A note of caution with the Atwood. Its motor tower is a little tall and the fore bunk "almost" touches it when out, about 0.5" clearance. Differences between model years and maybe manufacturing differences may cause your mileage to vary. Also, I can no longer open the rear hatch while we're hitched.
That will be an awsome Christmas gift that you will enjoy every outing!

Yup, cool! I think the 3 hole mounting is pretty much standard so it should bolt right up. That one looks a little shorter than mine so you should be good to go.

The OD on the lift tube on mine (2012 X23B) is 2 1/8”. So I would say the outer tube would be 2 ¼”.

So...... As I am also looking at a power lift jack as well, does anyone know what the dimension is on the B.A.L.? I also have a 2013 X23B. If you find out what the OD of the lift tube is, let me know.

BTW, I noticed the CW power jack only has a 1 year warranty compared to the Atwoods' 2 year warranty.

Jpetrey and others who own a 2013 X23B, I just received an e-mail from Jayco CS. They say the dimensions of the tongue jack we have has an OD of 2 1/4". They also recommended a 3500 lb. power jack from Lippert Components, part number #0213776.

Hope this helps!

UPDATE:

After reading some reviews, it looks like I'll be looking at another brand, like a Barker power tongue jack.

You`ll be happy with a Barker. A bit more money then some of the others, but made in USA.

A friend of mine with a trailer like mine got a 2500lb version and had to take it back and exchange for the 3500lb version. Just wasn't big enough to suit him. Never had one so don't know why a 3500lb version would be better than a 2500lb version.

I know my OFF-ROAD POPUP has the front deck on it so I would probably need a 3500lbs version jack. Its neat watching the guys walk around with the handheld control setting them up...

Hey Roy.... I think you need the extra "OOMPH!"...... to be able to lift both the TT and the TV up high enough to get the sway bars on.
