electrical button on bottom left of dash 2019 seneca

Looking for information on electrical push buttom on lower left of dash panel next to iqnition . Stopped at Freightliner in Minocqua,Wi. and they had not a clue what it is for. I have pushed it with engine running & not running, have know idea what its for or does.

It is the emergency bridge to join the chassis batteries with the house batteries. Used often when chassis batteries will not start and you need to assist by adding the house batteries to the battery bank. Push the button, the solenoid in the house battery bay engages and joins the two banks of batteries.

You can also use it to start the generator if the house batteries are dead. But that takes two people, one to hold the switch down in the cab and the other to start the generator at the control panel. Once the generator is running you release the cab switch and let the generator charge the batteries.
