FORD recalling 300,000 "Covid" Diesel Trucks

From YAHOO:

Ford is bringing back certain F250, F350, F450, F550, F650, and F750 Super Duty and Medium Truck vehicles equipped with its 6.7-liter Scorpion diesel engine. It seems that these pickup trucks’ motors can form dangerous biodiesel deposits on the fuel pump drivetrain roller components. These deposits can then lead to the engine’s high-pressure fuel pump failing, causing a potentially catastrophic cascade of damage.

2020-2022 With the Scorpion Diesel F-250, 350, 450, 550 and 650

2021-2022 F-650 and 750

Here is the best part. They are going to reflash the ecu with some programing that will make the deposits just dissappear. Think I will keep my dpk just a little longer.
Whats their story for all of the pre covid pump failures? Where's Oprah when everybody needs a dcr pump?

Wow, replacing 300,000 CP4 fuel pumps. That's gonna be expensive.
