Recall 2016-2018 Jay Flight SLX travel trailers

A friend sent me this since he knows I bought a new Jayco this year.

"Jayco, Inc is recalling 9,930 model year 2016-2018 Jay Flight SLX travel trailers equipped with a 35 amp power converter. The electrical circuit from the battery does not have overcurrent protection such as a fuse or circuit breaker."

we bought a 2018 jay flight slx 28.4 bus and the converter is not charging the battery I wonder if thats the problem the dealer told me to bring it back but we are having a bad winter hoping to get it to them soon. maybe the recall ones the problem

The recall doesn’t cover the issue you are having. It is only for the wiring from the battery to the converter that was installed with no fuse inline. This meant there was no protection in case a problem occurred.
