Learned 2 days ago from dealer that it will be another 4 weeks before parts will be sent to dealer. Then, I would imagine I will be put back in line. I told dealer I will take my RV and wait til parts arrive. All my weights and measurements and inspections are done. I just need new springs and the bump stop. No damage noted.

Funny you should mention this. I hauled mine 100mi one way to my dealer for the "inspection" on 8/12/2020 and haven't heard anything. I decided to contact my dealer yesterday and they got back with me and said the parts are on order and they will contact me when they come in. I'm also waiting for a pair of decal graphics for the same time and nothing yet.
Funny thing is on my recall notice it said I am to immediately contact my dealer and they have 3 days to get the recall completed and if they dont I am supposed to contact the NHTSA and file a formal complaint. So, it sounds like this is a pretty serious safety recall and Jayco is the one dragging their feet on mine. I am fortunate enough that my trailer has plenty of clearance between the tires and the floor and frame, none of my tires are wearing unevenly and my suspension mounts are are welded in good and reinforced well from the factory. If my trailer was having an issue I'd be contacting the NHTSA on Jayco.

Northpoint recall
Yes Sir,
My Dealer told me this is a significant recall and would not release the trailer without a liability release signed.
My Frame does show signs of "impact " on the frame and related wear of the tires due to the lack of leaf spring support and bumper stops.
It appears all claims have to be approved to submitted to Jayco then Dexter ,the axle manufacturer, deal with who's paying for what?

I went out and bought some bump stops from a 4 X 4 shop and bolted them the frame. Jayco isn't responsive at all.

I got notified the other day that my parts finally came in. Its only been 2 months.
A few hours later they said the parts were damaged and they had to reorder. I was originally supposed to get just the bump stops. Now they are saying the recorder is getting me the stops AND all new springs. Be interesting to see what the difference is from my old ones to the new ones. Either way, its gonna have to wait until next spring. My trailer is almost done getting all shined up with a fresh hand wax job, some pink pop to follow and a nice blanket for the winter.

Suspension.com
4 ea. Bump Stops - P/N 99138
I had to order a 29/64 drill and 1/2 nf tap to install them with 1/2 inch bolts. They may be able to be applied with adhesive but I don't know how long they stay on.
Hope that helps.

Yay! Got my trailer back today. New springs and added bump stops. Looks like new wet bolts where springs mount. They look dry. I will grease them then have a mobile welder strengthen the angle bars the runs parallel to the axels.

Well well well. Today I got under the NP to grease the wet bolts that were not greased upon replacement during the recall repair. What to my surprise did I find?
1. Left rear axle u-bolt nuts loose.
2. ALL other u-bolt nuts not torqued.
3. New axle bump stop bolt lock washers damaged with some missing.
4. Wet bolt zerk damaged. Looks like it was hammered in.
5. And of course, new wet bolts not greased.
I corrected all of these myself and promptly sent a letter of complaint to the dealer.
Please do not rely on these dealers to repair this recall properly. Either double check their work or have a certified trailer repair center check it!

I have a 2018 NP and believe I have a similar clearance problem. However Jayco doesn’t have a recall issued for the 2018s/my VIN yet. We have 35000 miles of towing on our trailer and I need to replace the springs anyway. Question...is Jayco replacing with 6 leaf (what I currently have) or 7 leaf springs?
Thanks

Mine was one of the first one to get springs replaced before the recall. They put 7 leaf 4,000 lb springs on mine or 8000 ea. axle.

I did...they work great! I’m out and about, so I can’t give you a link to the thread...but I think I titled it shocks vs. sumo springs...or something like that.

Sounds like s typical cube farm fix. Let's put 4000# springs on 3500# axles. Lol!

This may be a dumb question but is not advisable to use 7 leaf spring 4000# capacity springs on a 7000# axle?

Recall on Northpoint-HAVE YOUR DEALER TAKE A LOOK AT IT
Took Awhile (months) for me to finally get my 2017 Northpoint 315 completed but the dealer did go to battle for us.Axles and tires were also replaced as well as the leaf spring and bump stop modifications .You could see where the frame had impact marks on it from the lack of support. This created the tolerance issues in the axles .Fortunatly we had never had a blowout .We didn't even know we had a problem going on. I urge you to have your unit inspected if you did your own repairs. The new tires were a real blessing since we had about 15-20 K on the old ones.

Update;
I got my letter in August last year, contacted the dealer and got it in for an inspection shortly after. It took a good month for jayco to respond to their inspection findings. Jayco approved bump stop installation only. Took another few weeks to get the bump stops to the dealer to find they were damaged, per the dealer. Dealer contacted Jayco back and now it's getting a complete suspension replacement AND bump stops. By the time they got those parts its November. Not happening at that time, it's all put away for the winter. Made a weather permitting appointment for 3/22/21.
Perfect weather today and got it there frst thing. Took the guy about 3.5 hours to complete. It doesnt seem to ride any better OR any worse but it is definitely taller. Tech said it would be about another inch taller. He's right. It's all of an inch taller.
I got it home and parked it in its spot along side of the house. Dropped my jack posts to their normal holes and lowered the gear to get it off the truck. Got the truck out of the way and lowered the jacks so my entry door will clear the roof overhang of the house. Nope, not enough clearance, Clarance. With my current jack post configuration I've got the jacks bottomed right out and just barely have clearance for the entry door.
So now I'll have to go and check my stick measured papers I have, but I'm thinking now my overall height is 13' 5"
