15 amp breaker too sensitive?

(X23B) While running an electric skillet from one outlet and an air fryer from another outlet, the 15A breaker trips. Is this normal? We have 15A breakers in the kitchen of our house, and never have issues like this.

But your stick and brick probably has several circuits in the kitchen not both outlets on one breaker. I am also surprised your house is only 15 most kitchens are 20 amp.

I would say popping a breaker under the load of those two items would be normal in a camper! In a 23B ALL of the outlets are daisy chained together to one breaker, including the frig outlet (yep). The microwave outlet in our 23B has a separate breaker. All of the other breakers go to individual hardwired items such as the AC and water heater. You really cannot run two high wattage items at a time in any 30 amp shore power camper, or at least they cannot cycle on at the same time.

I bet if you look closely at your home kitchen wiring, you have a lot of circuit breakers dedicated only to the kitchen, I think current code specifies something like a minimum of 7 breakers just for a home kitchen. At minimum 2 of which must be dedicated 20 amp breakers just for the counters. I think I have 11 or 12 all 20 amp breakers.
