1st trip out and 1st ding.

We're just back from our maiden trip in our TT. It was wonderful...except for the time when DH took a corner too sharply and wiped out a campground fence after rolling over the curb with the right side wheels. Should have gone straight, but with the pivot point, the back of the trailer hit the cedar rail fence and knocked it over as well as dented the lower panel and the jack got a bit bashed too. The panel is all cosmetic, a friend can fix the jack, not sure if the campground will actually get our insurance to cover it....and we are still married. I know I've read many stories about other Rvers 'oopses', but when it happens to you....!!! I felt sick the rest of the day.
So, can anyone tell me how to go about purchasing a replacement panel??

Well, at least you got that out of the way! We always baby our stuff until that first ding, then it's like "what the heck, it's already dinged"! Thankfully, we haven't dinged the trailer yet!

Happened to us last year. I spent 2 days clearing trees to be able to make a u-turn and swing our new TT down the driveway and when we pulled out for the first trip, the ass end swung around and clipped our mailbox !!!

33RLDS...your driveway sounds like ours! We worried we wouldn't be able to get the TT up it the first time. It's a steep grade up with a switch back at the top. Happily, it goes up and down great. It's getting it turned around once we're up that us a challenge.

I had a little (OK Large) ding on one panel. I spoke to our dealer about replacement. They actually ordered the part for me.
Perhaps that could be your first try. If that does not work, then call Jayco directly and give them the make/model/year of your TT and what part is needed, hopefully that will get you the result you are needing.

GOOD LUCK and sorry to hear about the "First Ding".
