Smile 2000 Kiwi 17A replacement knobs

Hello! We are the proud new owners of a 2000 Kiwi 17A model that has been impeccably cared for, but the exterior knobs that screw onto the outside where the pop-out beds attach need to be replaced. Any idea where I might find some?

It's a hard part to describe, but here goes: there is a machine screw that comes out of the trailer, and when you fold the beds up they go over the screw and then a handle screws over the top of the screw to tighten the bed extension to the trailer to keep water out. The handle looks like one that you'd see on the side of your lawnmower handle

Thanks for any help!

Kolleen

Amazon. The latches are not Jayco specific parts. Most of the hybrid manufacturers of the time used this type.

These were a really bad design and didn't hold up well. Our 2003 Kiwi 17a had them also. They replaced them on later models. Some owners of the older models have upgraded to one of the newer designs, but I don't think there is enough wall around the opening to accommodate the new lock type.
