2006 Jayco 25rks heat and a/c won't kick on

I just purchased a 2006 Jayco Jay flight 25 Kris a few days ago from a friend. Before I bought it when I used the thermostat both the a/c and heat would kick on. I brought it home and when I tried it this time the fan came on for just a second and then cut off. Now I can't get the heat or a/c to kick on at all. I checked all the fuses and breakers and they are fine. Any ideas? Possibly bad thermostat or am I missing some fuses?

Thanks

You are plugged in to ac and have a good fully charged battery?

Not sure about your model but on mine the AC and the furnace both work off the thermostat. On mine the furnace motor was bad and shut everything down. First take the cover off the thermostat and make sure all wires are secure.

How good of a friend is he?

I would be giving him a call for some hands on how he did it.

There is a little rocker switch on top of the furnace.. if that accidentally got turned off neither would work..

Okay so I changed the little fuse in the thermostat and now the fan in the ceiling turns on but I am not getting cold air so I am assuming the ac is not working. Also the furnace still won't kick on. Any ideas? Still a possible bad thermostat?

Can't hurt to change it. Except a few dollars.
