2008 Norcold Fridge frosting up on cooling fins

In the last few weeks, the cooling fins have been frosting up in my fridge.
It has done that in the past, during a particularly hot spell, but never for long.
I came back from a few days away, and it is almost solid. I defrosted it, but it is doing it again. I’ve tried different settings, and nothing is working. The weather is cooler now, and still building up.

The freezer is behaving normally.

first thing is to check your door seals, to make sure you dont have a tear and good contact all the way around the door. Something is letting in a lot of moisture to have that much ice forming.

Would recommend installing a fan on the evaporator too, will really help with that issue bu keeping the air moving over the fins.

The thermistor could be bad or it may need to be adjusted.
