Hello,
I'd just like to thank everyone here in advance as last year this forum was extremely helpful last year with my first season of camping. We thankfully got through the winter with no mice or water but haven't had a chance to pull the trailer out yet. We have been getting pounded by rain the last few weeks and my wife is worried about the seals and water getting in. When it gets a bit nicer I'd like to go over the trailer and re-caulk/seal everything. My first question is what is the best sealant to use? I've done a bit of research and Geocel Pro Flex keeps coming up (
https://www.amazon.ca/Proflex-Flexib...eocel+pro+flex). Remove old sealant and apply new and smooth with a soapy water finger.
What should I use for resealing the roof seams? I believe, based on the user manual that I have a rubber roof by Alpha Systems. They say to use their non-sag roof sealant, I found some various products by Dicor that say the same thing. Is that the way to go?
Lastly, the couch that folds down to a bed is very, very squeaky. Has anyone had this issue? Is there an easy way to get under it or take it off so I can try and see what is squeaking and lubricate if need be?
Thanks!
