2013 351 mkts

I have a 2013 351 MKTS, absolutely love this trailer except I believe it has a design fault where the awning sits. My trailer is parked all year long and the door faces the west. Everytime it rains the stairs are wet. Even when the awning is out and fully extended. The door and the awning start/end approx. 1 foot to 16" from the slide out. Does anyone else have this issue. have you seen anything on the market that I can cover in the in the open area between the 2. I have attached a pic (hopefully it works) so you can see the issue. The awning in this pic is retracted, but you can get the understanding.

Thanks Darrell

well my 338 rets is designed the same the awning is at the edge of slide and so is the door ... but on mine with a rain it seems everything under it gets wet if the wind is blowing at all ... don't know if you could add a side type curtain to the awning on that side?

My 33rlds is the same way. doesn't stay dry like I wish it would. Haven't found anything that would work.
