2015 Jayco 31 DS Rear TV Mount

Well first I love my rig, but I have found out that the TV in the bedroom that is mounted all the way to the right and to the top of the front wall can not be viewed while in the bed. Does anyone else have this problem and what have you done to fix this. I have thought about replacing the mount with one that has a tilting head.

As a fast fix I have installed a 3/4" stainless steel spacer in the top two screw mounts and replaced screws with longer one. Seems to have helped a bit.

I think that Jayco needs to look at this and fix it on newer units.

The mount I installed in the bedroom of my White Hawk has an adjustment that allows you to tilt the TV down. I'd replace the mount.

Charles I thought the bedroom is for snoozing? The assemblers at Jayco don't have time to watch TV they just mount as the plan says. Best thing is to write Jayco with a suggestion and for now just be innovative. You got the right idea by trying a tilted head. We all try to aim for perfection in a imperfect World. Good Luck!

I used wood shims for leveling door frames. Worked great.

Yup, Same Problemo !

I just bought a tilt mount for it but then I realized.... No DOOR !!! it's mounted to the sides with gas struts. And of course, you don't notice it when you purchase the rig cause you're standing up looking at the TV !
