2017 Jay Feather 23BHM hot water tank bypass?

Any help would be appreciated.

We just got this trailer earlier in the summer after having a Jayco pop up for years. Everything is working great and i'm pretty handy so i figured it'd be no sweat winterizing. I watched the videos and all videos I saw showed a 3 valve bypass system.

I pulled off the wood panel under the bunk mattress and could easily see the tank. Problem is I searched and searched and can only find 2 valves. One at the cold water intake and one at the hot water out line. Am I missing something? I know the trailer was winterized last year and it does have the clear suction tube at the water pump under the kitchen sink.

Is it as simple as turning both valves? I'm at work and can't recall off the top of my head if there was a PEX bypass line somewhere near those valves. I can get a pic today when I get home if that helps.

The camper is a 2017 Jay Feather 23BHM with a 6 gallon Atwood L.P. hot water tank. Thanks in advance.

The valves should look like this drawing, some models are now using a one valve system.

You're not missing anything. I just winterized my 23BHM a few days ago and for sure the bypass is a 2-valve thing. Just turn them where they ain't and let 'er rip.

Subscribing to this thread to keep track of other 23BHM owners as much as for the winterizing tips.

I went from the three valve set up to a two valve design. No worries. Snap a picture of your set up before you begin, noting valve handle positions if that helps. I drew a diagram for reference next year if needed.

No bypass valve

I have the same tank as the diagram posted above. Except my vertical hose does not have a bypass valve . Just the hose. 2 valve system. So I'm not sure if I keep the hot and cold valves open for summer usage. I'm in Az so no need to winterize. I think the previous owner did winterize. My shower water only last about 2 minute and instantly turns cold. I was very conservative on the water also. My friend who just bought a 202 c22a class c with same size tank took a 8 minute shower and had no issues
I have a 2017 Jayco 23bhm . This was also on propane and electric running at same time.
