27DSRL Whitehawk Front Mask and 303 Protectant--Suggestions

Hello,

Looking for advice.

Applied 303 this weekend. All went great until I was faced with applying to the front end of the WH. Due to the round nature and location of the hitch.. using a ladder was a challenge at best.. coming at it from the top, hanging over the front was a challenge as well.

Settled on a new mop (really rung out) , with a buffing rag draped over the washing brush.

The issue I ran into:
A) BLACK SUCKS TO TREAT..Sorry had to get that out..
B) the mop even rung out applied to much .. and
C) REALLY hard to buff off the mask...

Worked on it for hours.. got most of it, but not happy with the overall results. The rest of the trailer looks great.. just the application of the front area was subpar.

Any suggestions for next time?

.. Thanks

Front fiberglass maintenance..

I have a 2013 WhiteHawk that I bought used. It's in great shape except for the curved fiberglass front panel. Like you I'm trying to figure out how to reach and scrub the old gel coat and apply Poli Glow as well. I was wondering if one can carefully lean anything against the surface. I'm assuming that would be a no, no so I haven't tried. I'm not sure I can even reach and scrub the oxidation from a ladder and do a good job. Anybody have some suggestions as I'm not a kid that can just climb anything anymore.

If you have them available I like two step ladders and a 2 x 12 plank. Make sure the step ladders are steady and solid. Just bridge over the tongue area.
