5th wheel graphics bubbles

Help, we bought a brand new 2011 371 RLQS 5th wheel, after one year we began to notice a number of bubbles had formed under the graphics all around our dream 5th wheel. We contacted the dealer we bought from and suggested poking a pin hole in each bubble and smooth the bubbles out. We did this and it worked for the summer. the next year after taking it out of storage, we again noticed additional bubbles, again we pin holed each one and smoothed them out. We just took our 5th wheel out of storage and again more bubbles and even more than last year. This is now a major headache for us and the bubbles are not smoothing out very well, there now a wrinkle where we tried to smooth the bubbles out. The bubbles are anywhere from dime size to silver dollar size now, and are located all over the unit. I just wrote a letter to Jayco in regards to our problem. Has anyone else had this problem? If so what was your remedy or are we SOL? Thanks for any advise!

You are not alone. We have the same problem with our 2010. And we've been told the same thing from everyone we've talked to about it, "prick 'em and smooth 'em out". Frustrating isn't it!

Had that issue on my 2011. Contact Jayco if you are the original owner they may help you. If you have the dealer document your inquiry with them last year it will help.

The only way to get air bubbles out of graphics is poking the bubble with a pin then work the air out.NOTE: Be careful not to crease the graphic when working the air out because once creased you'll never get it out.This process works best on a warm day or slightly warm the area up with a hair dryer.
The reason for the air bubbles is due to when the graphics were applied all the air wasn't worked out which is very common with graphics period not just on RV's. The outcome with any graphic all depends on the amount of time the person applying them wants to spend and how they are applied either dry or wet.

I take a pin to about 5 to 10 each year. Still doing it and the unit is a 08 bought new. Not that big a problem and lets me look over everything else real close.

Other than popping them yourself you are SOL.

I was just going to ask the same question.
My 2010 developed bubbles this winter.
Funny I didn't have them till I had a carport type shelter built for it,makes me wonder if not setting in the sun helped bring them out.
