A/C Question

Hi,
My A/C unit has three fan settings. Two low, and one high. Why the two low speeds? I tried looking in the manual but did not find anything. Is one fresh air and one recirculated?
Thanks,

There is another topic on this subject I think. Mine has the same thing as done my brothers and his pop-up is like 10 years old. Some thing on some AC units there some other setting in place of one of the low settings, but on most it's just the same as the other low.

Or maybe one is fan only and one is fan/compressor? Do you have a Pic?
