Antenna Leaking Water

2 campouts ago, It was pouring down rain during the night. I woke up in the wee hours of the morning and when I walked under the antenna turn knob, I felt water on the floor and the carpet there was wet also.
Upon investigation, when I would pull the knob down (like you do to turn the antenna a different direction) water would come out. Trailer is at the end if its 1st year of a 2 year warranty . I called Jayco and they approved me to get a pressure test at Camping World. camping world found the antenna leaking and Jayco approved their replacing the antenna.
Now, we are waiting for the new antenna to come in so they can replace it.
Just giving you all a heads up.

Sounds like you need a new o-ring. Here is a thread on it.

A squirt of silicone spray in the lube port on top annually is recommend to keep that o ring from drying up.

Unless they see something wrong, I sure don't see any reason to replace the whole thing.

My original crank up antenna is right over my bed and that sucker leaked a couple of times and since I never used it I wanted it gone. When I had to have my failed rubber roof replaced this past January it was a good time for this leak magnet to go away and now it is residing in a land fill somewhere. I replaced it with the one in this picture. I don't know how well it works and don't care, but it is there and it doesn't crank up or leak.
