Question ATWOOD 1733 oven no pilote

Hi all,
I my 2018 Jayco 186 Camper the range is a Atwood RA 1733. The pilote flame doesn't work and no LPG to it. I used air to try to clean the tubing of the pilot from the valve # 57294. I tried to order a new valve assembly but it's not available anymore. I was thinking about the thermostat out of order but can't find a solution. Range is working good, 2 full tanks of LPG.

What can I do to make it work, without investing in a new range ($650. USD

Thank-you,

Maybe a silly question but just in case.... when you turn the oven temperature knob to pilot are you pushing in the knob and holding it to let gas through the valve so the pilot will light? Sometimes it takes a minute for the gas to fill the line and light and then you have to hold it for another 30 seconds or so until the thermocouple heats enough to stay lit.

Others may have ideas but do you have someone else that can look at with you? Sometimes it just takes another set of eyes.

Also, if your rig is a 2018 it should still be under warranty.

I've been using it for almost 10 years and yes I turn to pilot and push for…. as long as 5 minutes but no luck...even used a little torch and no gas. In the thermostat connector to the main valve a small spring loaded type of check valve with small brass coil should work but I do not know how it should, looks like a OHM device that react to the heat on the thermocouple. My guess???

There should be an adjustment screw for the pilot flame on the valve or behind the knob. Try moving it to see if you get flow.

I had the same problem with my oven the pilot light would not light.. and they no longer make my thermocouple. After searching everywhere had to buy a new oven and I could just not get one... On the plus side the oven lights much easier now than it ever did with the old oven.

Thank-you for your info, for the total days of camping changing the total range is not really worth-it for me, I use the oven as bread and other food things. Thank-you,
