Atwood Furnace AFMD35121A problem

Have an Atwood AFMD35121_A furnace that is inoperative at the moment. Turn thermostat to heat and hear a click. But nothing else, fuses are all good. Pulled the panel cover down and there are (4) wires on the top of the furnace with (3) connected. A Blue Thermostat + wire was capped off and not connected. Then the other three are Jayco (white to Atwood Black, Jayco Brown to Atwood Red, and Jayco Blue to Atwood Blue. Check all wire caps for loose connections, etc. Propane tank are full and tested stove. Exhaust tube is clean and no nest/webs, etc.

Atwood Furnace AFMD35121A problem

Have you had the gas off or a tank off to refill? If so your gas line might be full of air.

Frequently there is a lot of gas line between the tank and furnace. Sometimes you have to switch it on, let it try to start. Then switch it off (at thermostat) to reset it, then back on.

My last TT you had to do this a dozen times or more before you got all the air out of the gas line.

It's a safety thing, furnaces will usually have to be reset if they fail II light after a certain time.

If that's not the problem then the next step is probably a trip to the dealer.

Perhaps an inane question on my part, but was your propane on? Inasmuch as I don't really know how that furnace works and you haven't provided your rig's data (either on the Forum here or, as far as I can discern, in your Personal Profile), I don't know if the furnace is propane fueled, electric only, or both. Can you elaborate so we can assist? Looks like Buddy Ray is on top of it.

Atwood Furnace AFMD35121A problem

Another inane question......on you thermostat did you turn the furnace "on" with the top lever? It is very stiff/hard to move.

Heady,
He mentioned that the furnace "clicked " which is usually the solenoid on the gas valve opening which would indicate he got it on.

There might be air in the propane line which is preventing gas getting to your furnace. Try igniting your center stove burner and leave it on for about a minute or two to get all the air out of the propane line. Then try to ignite your furnace.

To clarify my problem with the furnace
2015 Jayco Eagle 339flqs
1) Propane tanks both full
2) stove, oven, hot water heater on LP all work perfectly
3) The furnace, when switched on to heat, only makes a click at the furnace. NO Blower fan, No Ignition. Then I turn of the heat switch and back on same thing
4) No fuses blown and battery has been load tested to confirm
5) shore power
I have ran out of ideas on what it could be.
Thank you

Found the problem with the furnace. Water has manage to come in the combustible air intake tube, due to the Atwood vent being angle upward instead of downward to prevent water/moisture from entering into the furnace.

I'm having the same issue. Did you have to replace the circuit board?

MW5655,
Yes replaced the circuit board and changed the furnace angle instead of tilting backwards. But i went to a local RV dealer(Atwood service center) and they called Atwood directly for a replacement at no charge. I did all of the labor tough.
