Awning help

One of my awning arms broke and the other is bent. Need to order new arms but for the life of me I can’t figure what exactly to order. Camper has been winterized already at a seasonal campground and I left the owners manual in the camper. I have a 2019 jayco jay flight Slx. Does anyone know what type I have and where to order. Awning arms have the speakers in them. Thank you for your help

Is it a Dometic awning? There should be a label somewhere on the main mast with brand and item number.

I’m not sure. When it broke we had to zip tie arms back so we could get the awning back in

Look on etrailer.com. They have all the big names. You can buy just the arms too. Type in "awning arm" in the search window. You can flip through their site and take a look. If you bought it new, call your dealer and ask them what awning is on your unit. Somebody here will come along and know a lot more.

Sounds to me like it’s a Solera awning. That is what’s on ours with speakers at the top of the awning arm. Are there not any manufacturer stickers on the arms or elsewhere?

The Solera has the sticker on the tube right near the rear cap. Get all the numbers off it and contact Jayco or you can look up the parts diagram on their Lippert Components site.

Call Jayco, give them your vin # and they will tell you the model awning used on the TT. Then you can call the mfg.

I helped my neighbor repair his awning. I found the labels on his damaged arms and found replacement parts on eBay. In his case it was a pretty easy project.
