I have 5 Loco Genius 1. I use them on both lawn mowers, truck, van and RV. On the class C RV I daisy chained both 12 v house batteries and use one .

I have 2, one is strictly 12v, the other smaller one is 6/12 v for a Model T Ford.
I've had both for a few years, used constantly and never had a problem.

We use the model 1 on most of our motorsports equipment, and vehicles that do not get driven weekly.

After watching the Noco boost failing in almost ever test I would be leary of the manufacturer, but many people here have had good results with the charger

I have 3 Battery Tenders in use. The oldest is at about 10 years and the newest is about 2 years. All work without any issues.

So I noticed the major difference between a Tender and Minder is the Minder desulfates. I did buy another Tender and all the lights are on. I think the one I replaced is still in good working order, just the light is out. Tested both batteries and they're fine. May look into the Minders this Spring.

So I had a genius and had issues with my two battery setup. If I disconnected the batteries from the 5er it worked fine, but the draw of charging the jaycommand tablet and whatever other parasitic draw I had with the key turned off wouldnt let the voltage get high enough and the damn thing kept erroring out (i.e. stopped charging).
I went to this Victron unit after a bit of research and it gets my batteries to storage mode and is working great:
