bed need more bracing

what do people do to add more support to there master bed platform we have a jay flight slx 284 bhsw

bed need more bracing

One sheet of 1/2” plywood is quick and easy. I’d also recommend insulating the underside, and adding some foam weatherstripping to the top of the frame it sits on so it closes quietly.

I'm on my 3rd Jayflight i've had to add support to the front bed ( see posted pics of our 195RB) , i can almost do it blindfolded now. It's a very simple construction process, adding a wall between the underside of the bed inside and the front storage area. On my 21QBW, i actually changed the plywood from the thin plywood to a thicker wood, hinged the bed over the wall i built so only the inside section lifted up. The main thing is the wall running from side to side. Makes a world of difference in how the mattress feels. PS .... i used small metal brackets so i didn't have to do any drilling into the floor
