best way to fix cracked leaking caulking.

Where my rubber roof meets the metal strip the caulking is cracked. The metal has a little bit of a bow in it. This is where the caulking is cracked. What's the best way to fix the issue. What type of caulking? Do you peal the old caulking out? Leave it there and clean? Do they make fiber tape or something to put down in the area to hold it together better?Looking for any and all tips.
I have a x23b and it is front of the camper on the roof right before it curves.
Thanks

Dicor is the most common, there are other solutions. Check out the attached YouTube video link.

best way to fix cracked leaking caulking.

I have dicor self leveling and 2 widths of Eternabond tape. They do the job.
I cleaned the seam across the front cap and put 6 in Eterna bond all the way across the front.
