I'm late in the game... but here is my take
I'm a part time car detailer, and worked a couple of times on boats and RV. darker colors will show defects more, a lot of RVs have scratches and the owners will not notice because of the color (so fine scratches are not that rare).
Dealers are just not careful when they wash an RV, they use a brush with plastic bristles, that they put on gravel when not used, then wash the fenders and wheels with the same brush! (I only use a boars hair brushes that are cleaned and soaked in warm water for at least 20 minutes to soften the bristles , and use a separate brush for tires, rims and fenders)
wax and fillers will only make it look better for a short while, I would start with a compound and polish ($), if that doesn't work, you would need a wet sand and a new clearcoat ($$$).
whatever you do, a good coat of wax every year or 6 months will help protect the clear from UV rays, and keep it looking great!
