Bumps on my wall

About a month a go I started noticing these little bumps on one of my walls. Had it in for service a few weeks back and the repairman guy was calling it "Punkin". Says it caused when the wood under the wall paper has been wet. Not sure if I go along with that or not. There is no indication (water stains, discoloration) on the wall paper.

Anyone seen this before?

I have.., and unfortunately in most cases it does mean that moisture has bee in contact with the ceiling panels.

That is either moisture or a bad panel from the factory.

Sorry, but I too believe that`s from water. I would locate the leak ASAP.

Supposedly the dealer looked for leaks when I had it in for service and they said they could not find any. I guess I need to get with Jayco, since it was happening while the 5er was under warranty.

Leaks can be very difficult to find, may not be where you think they should be, and may only occur in certain conditions such as driving in rain or sitting at a certain angle. A very prolonged heavy rain can also find leaks that otherwise may not occur. It happened here at my house when we had 10 inches in 3 hours! Never leaked before there.

Yep, I do believe it's water seeping between the panel and the wall paper. Can you get to the back side of the panel to see where the water is coming from ? Also look on the outside panels and roof to see if any cracks or seams have opened up. Unfortunately, once the water source is found and fixed, I think you will have to replace the wall paper - the bumps will likely not disappear completely even when the wood drys out.

well....I just noticed the same thing exactly on my celing today. got about a 3"x10" area with those bumps. I had some AC leakage/condensation runoff entering the camper over the summer and believe this is not a result of it. Im pretty sure I got the leak fixed but those bumps in no way warrant me cutting up the celing/roof just yet. I'll wait and see how bad they get and if I start getting seperation if it comes to that

Ment to say it IS a result of my AC leakage.
